P225 features the sounds of Yamaha’s premier concert grand piano, the CFX, and this model uses Yamaha technology to replicate the expressive tonal changes that occur in a real grand piano.

Stereophonic Optimizer When using headphones, the Stereophonic Optimizer lets players enjoy the dispersed sound heard when sitting in front of an acoustic piano. With the Stereophonic Optimizer, Voices sampled from acoustic pianos appear to come from the body of the instrument. This provides a comfortable, natural experience that removes the drawbacks of performing with headphones.	Recording, metronome, and rhythm functions to make your piano practice more fun and effective If you’re wanting to listen to your playing objectively, or to practice only your right hand along with what you play in your left hand, the recording function is just the thing you need. Dedicated optional stand and three-pedal unit available for a more authentic performance experience For those who want to really play the piano instead of enjoying it casually on a tabletop, we offer an optional L200 stand and LP1 three-pedal unit that provide the same features as you would find on a grand piano (including a damper pedal that supports half-pedaling).
