Digital Tanpura is a small sized Tanpura shaped Instrument which sounds exactly as a Natural Tanpura. The sound of the instrument is taken from playing a Natural Acoustic Tanpura and stored into an AD Integrated Circuit and recalled the same . All the Twelve Sruthi’s can be selected according to the Singer or Instrumentalist choice. The range of Sruthi’s are B7 — C1 — C# 1 ½ — D2 — D# 2 ½ — E — F 4 — F# 4 ½ — G5 — G# 5 ½ — A6 — A# 6 ½ 1. Panchama 2.Madhyama 3. Nishada option is also provided by pressing the Mode switch and last played Sruthi will be stored in memory for next usage when switched on again. It has a backup battery which will last for at least 5 hours of continual usage . Power chord for charging and a switch for charging and ON the instrument is provided at the backside of the instrument. While charging red light glows inside the instrument and when it is fully charged it will turn to blue color. Universal charging of 110 to 230 Volts is provided .A stand is also provided with the instrument.
